Stephan van den Bos
aka DJ Tyer has been
around in the Dutch
breakbeat scene for
quiet some time as a
deejay, producers and
party promoter. Playing
all kind of dance music
with breakbeat vibes,
he knows how to get
the party started and
set the floor on fire.
It all started with
spinning Hip Hop at
the age of 16 when he
got two fucked up turntables
and a mixer. After a
few years he started
to producing his own
stuff like trip hop
and big beats. In 1999
he hooked up with Trigg
and they started Longplayers
a breakbeat duo who
won “ the big price
of Holland” the same
year. Since than he
played in almost every
club and most of the
festivals around Holland.
In the meantime Tyer
and a few of his friends
organized monthly underground
party’s at the Koornbeurs
in Delft from 1998 till
2006. Besides that he
is one of the founders
of the breakbeat label
Futureline Records.
